Why we built it
People already turn to AI with real-life questions: whether to change jobs, what to do next. AI can explain a great deal. But the help we trust most comes from people who’ve seen it before, many times. Experience is what shapes judgment.
That experience exists, mostly unsaid: what people tried, what came after, what they’d tell themselves now. We built Ember to make it usable. People talk for themselves first, not to answer anyone, make content, or collect likes. Ember draws on many lives like theirs to help them think clearly, and when it helps, brings in one person’s story they chose to share, or a few people in the same place.
We want every life lived to make another life a little easier.
Where we’re headed
We think everyone will think through life with AI. The best partner for that won’t just know more. It will have experience: of many lives, and of having helped, many times. That’s what we’re building: a thinking partner that grows in judgment, not just memory.
Where the name comes from
original + scene = Oriscen
It’s our name for the moments that stay with you. Everything we make starts there.
Who we are
Oriscen was founded by Jackson (Hao) Cui, Founder and CEO. Before Oriscen he was a research scientist at Google Research, and spent years on AI and on large-scale search and ranking.
