What we build
Oriscen, Inc. builds AI products for ordinary life rather than for work. We make two: Ori, an assistant for your social life, and Ember, an interviewer that turns what you have lived into a written story.
Both are built around the same idea: the assistant’s job is to finish the task and then get out of the way. What should be left over is not time spent in an app — it is an evening with people you care about, or a story about your life that did not exist before.
Where the name comes from
original + scene = Oriscen
It’s our name for the moments that stay with you — the scenes that bring you back to yourself, to other people, and to the world around you. Everything we build begins there.
Two products, one purpose
Ori is an AI assistant for your social life. It turns “we should” into a real plan, then gets out of the way.
Ember is an AI story interviewer. It turns what you lived into a private story that stays yours — to read, edit, and keep.
They address two halves of the same problem. Ori helps meaningful moments happen. Ember helps them live on.
How we think about AI
We think AI should make more room for the experiences and relationships that make us human, rather than stand in for them. Most software is measured by how much of your attention it holds. We would rather build something you open twice and then stop thinking about, because it already did the thing you needed.
That principle has a practical consequence for personal stories: what you tell Ember stays private and stays yours, to read, edit, and keep.
